Establishing finance processes, systems and practices, and facilitating financial facilities across GETZ territories is a key part of Bilal’s role, and he comes to M&P ME with strong experience of the discipline, but also the challenges of operating financial systems across different geographies and cultures.
As Area Finance Director (Africa) for Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts AG he managed a 28-hotel portfolio across Africa with a support network throughout the Continent, and managed through a combination of systems, processes and travel to meet the people and secure knowledge and experience amongst the team.
Prior to this, as Senior Business Finance Manager at KGT Communications Group responsible for all finance and risk of the multi-brand distribution house, Bilal extended his experience in the telecom sector from 20:20 Mobile Middle East where he was Finance Controller (Middle East) and managed the finance function for the Middle East and Turkey.
